Mortagne-au-Perche is the capital of “boudin noir”, and the town celebrates its speciality every year.

The fair begins with the international competition for the best blood sausage, organized by the brotherhood of the knights of the “boudin noir”. Cooking demonstrations and participatory workshops with a chef are also scheduled.

This year Véronique Louwagie, Minister for Trade, Craft Trades, SMEs and the Social Economy, will be on hand to kick off the Fair at 4pm. Afterwards, a cocktail will be served by Michelin-starred chef David Gallienne.
